Story

Looking back at Savo’s exhibition, 3daysofdesign 2026

From June 10 to 12, Savo welcomed visitors to ‘The office chair reimagined’ in Copenhagen, inviting a fresh perspective on an object that has been hiding in plain sight.

Presented as part of FRAMING at the historic Odd Fellow Palace, the exhibition brought together nine creatives from different disciplines who each transformed a Savo chair through their own creative lens. The result was a collection of highly personal interpretations that challenged expectations of what an office chair can represent.

Set within the historic surroundings of the palace, the installations encouraged visitors to look beyond function and consider office seating as part of a wider design and cultural conversation.

Alongside the reimagined office chairs, guests explored the interactive Joi Room, where movement, play, and experimentation took centre stage, and discovered insights from Savo’s latest white paper examining the visibility of office seating within contemporary design culture.

Daily breakfast sessions offered a more intimate way to experience the exhibition. Over coffee and pastries from Juno the Bakery, visitors were invited on guided tours with Savo’s CEO Craig Howarth and several of the participating creatives who shared the thinking, inspiration, and stories behind their chair interpretations. These conversations added another layer to the exhibition, revealing the diverse perspectives that shaped each result.

As another inspiring edition of 3daysofdesign comes to a close, we would like to thank everyone who contributed, visited, participated, and helped spark new conversations around office seating and its place in the design world.

The discussion around office seating is far from over and we look forward to continuing it together.
